Beautiful photos. I posted a few as well. I live on the other side, near Allen. Our neighborhood was also fine; the swirling winds on Tuesday pushed the fire east then over us and the slamming down lake. I remember just going blank when I looked at the window at ~ 6:30 pm on Tuesday and saw the mountains on fire.
Those winds were unbelievable. They pushed that fire from east to west so quickly! When we got the evacuation order at 3:30 am Tuesday it looked like the fire was practically on top of us. Incredibly scary moment.
It’s so hard driving through all of the devastation, but my daughter’s school is on the other side of town so I have no choice. 😩 But we will rebuild. #altadenastrong

Still some green leaves on the bottom of my mango tree at the ZGE. So hard to see it all. I've been avoiding driving through.
